What Should I Do If My Flight Schedule Changes Before Arriving in Japan?

Contact KCP immediately if your flight schedule changes before arrival in Japan.

KCP recommends choosing a flight that arrives before 3:30 p.m. and as early in the day as possible. About one month before the program begins, students receive airport pickup, housing, and KCP contact information. Keep both KCP-USA and KCP-Japan contact details with you while traveling.

If your flight changes in advance, email KCP-USA and KCP-Japan and, if possible, call both offices. Provide your new flight number, arrival date and time, and hotel or hostel information if you will stay overnight.

If weather, delays, or missed connections affect your arrival, contact KCP right away. Airport processing can take about one hour, and the last student pickup group typically leaves around 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. Students who miss pickup may be directed to a meeting point or airport hotel.

Students not using KCP-arranged housing generally do not receive airport pickup.
