My favorite was the conversation practice, since I wanted to improve that the most. I can’t think of anything I would call unproductive.

I would strongly recommend insisting that beginners have previous experience in the language, at least a year or more.

I benefit the most from drill practices and review, but group or one-on-one conversations are the best way for me to put what I’ve learned into practice.

I found that the pair work was very effective, as it allowed students to work together in order to overcome obstacles that they would otherwise not be able to overcome on their own.

Any time I had a problem or question, there was always someone at KCP who made time for me and helped me.

The opportunity to practice speaking and comprehending Japanese during class, in conversation sessions, and in day-to-day life was an invaluable experience for which I am very grateful.

Everything was pretty productive and interesting depending on the goals that you had set forth for yourself. I can’t find anything that I found boring, and not productive.

Attending class everyday alongside Chinese and Korean students was a unique and worldly experience that I really enjoyed.

Personally I found the classes themselves to be the most satisfying. The teachers were extremely helpful and motivated and while they taught at a fast pace they did everything they could to ensure the students understood the material.

The classes taught me a lot day in an day out and the conversation session I had with my sensei were great!
